iPhone 6: Well-less transfer passengers from Android camp than expected

Before the launch of the iPhone 6 numerous analysts predicted that Apple could move to switch due to a larger display, many Android users. Preliminary figures suggest that this effect is not arrived.

According to a survey by the research firm "Consumer Intelligence Research Partners" (CIRP) (via MacRumors), were only 12 percent of Android users, before they have gained one of the new iPhones. About 80 percent of the owners of an iPhone 6 or 6 plus were previously using an iPhone on the go. In comparison, the previous models, iPhone or iPhone 5s 5c 23 percent of buyers used an Android device before, about 65 percent of an Apple smartphone.

From the previous Android users who have switched to an Apple smartphone, about 31 percent have decided Plus 6 for the larger iPhone. For iPhone users, it was 25 percent.

However, the survey is not representative. For CIRP surveyed only 300 iPhone users in the period shortly after the launch in September. Only on the first weekend after launch, Apple sold over 10 million units, as the number of 300 respondents is too small to close on the set of all iPhone owners. Therefore, the survey can serve only as an indication that it changed less Android users to a new iPhone, as expected.

Before the start of the new-generation iPhone, many analysts have assumed that there would be more transfer passengers from the Android camp due to the larger displays than before. Even Apple itself has been prepared and a guide for former Android users published that will help you change.
