Researchers: Chromecast overtaken Apple TV


The already available Multimediabox Apple since 2012 apparently losing significant market share. In the US, Google's platform Chromecast now to be drawn past Apple TV.


In terms of hardware, Apple care has long stopped his Multimediabox Apple TV: The latest incarnation of the unit came in March 2012 on the market and has been revised internally gently in January 2013.. Instead, Apple cares but regularly to the software as well as new content.

Leader among the "Streaming Media Devices" is, according to Parks Associates in the US continues to Roku, even if the provider has lost 46 percent in 2013 to 29 per cent. For 2014, the market researchers counted the first nine months of the year.

What Apple has with its Multimediabox further that remains unclear. The company is rumored to haunt for several years through the scene, plan its own TV. CEO Tim Cook had said in November that he felt transported back 30 years if he considered his television. Concrete plans to Apple TV he did not name.
