Pocket study indicates that owners of an iPhone 6 or an iPhone 6 Plus much less access to tablet computers as the owner of an iPhone 5S. Blame for the misery are most likely the larger displays of the new smartphones. Because Apple dominates the tablet market with its iPad, the company suffers most from the new "competition".
The origins of the tablet computer go back to the 1990s. Was published by the iPad in 2010, but this led rather a niche. The great success of the Apple tablet encouraged other manufacturers to develop their own devices and to upload it. Meanwhile, the tablet market is so flooded that even tech-savvy end users often the overview is lost. The products of Apple hold, however, still within manageable limits - at least in view of the number of different models. In the current devices are the iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3, both undoubtedly among the most powerful and most user-friendly tablet on the market.
One gives a study faith, then the new iPad but not overly enjoy great popularity. For this, just the iPhone and the iPhone 6 will be made 6 Plus responsible. The new Apple smartphones have 4.7 or 5.5 inch display sizes for the first time on that fall within the so-called phablet area. By using such a large cell phone, the huge advantage is diminished (a large display) a tablet considerably. Consequently, the expensive purchase of an iPad is not worth as much as before. The user study of Pocket points out that at the time of the iPhone 5S is 45 percent reached for the iPad. On the iPhone 6 there are, however, 28 percent, while the rate is 6 Plus is the iPhone only at 20 percent.
