Celebgate: How to protect photos from his iPhone and iCloud in three easy steps (tutorial)

TECHNO - Since Apple has confirmed that hundreds of nude photos of celebrities came from an attack on its online storage service iCloud Wednesday, its shares fell 4% in stock and you are entitled to ask you how to protect yourself also your photos, at least those that hackers should not have access.

Here's how to protect photos from your iPhone and iCloud in three easy steps.

1.    Remove your photos iCloud

If your photos will automatically transfer to iCloud, you are a good target for hackers. How to turn this off?

a. Go to your Settings and select iCloud

b. Scroll up Photos

c. Disable buttons My photo stream and Photo Sharing

2.    Remove your photos (incriminating or not) in my photostream

If your personal collection was transferred to the iCloud automatically, make sure not to relegate too personal photos in your photo stream. To do this, click on your iPhone Photos and Albums, and watch my photostream. Remove any photos you do not want to share. You May Like: How to Backup Photos from iPhone to Computer

3.    Configure an additional check in iCloud

You should also set a two-step verification for your iCloud account. That way, anyone who wants access must enter a special code that is sent to your iPhone or texting will know your security key (a separate password) to log in to your iCloud account.

Here's how to set it up:

a. Go to iCloud.com and log in to your account

b. Click Account Settings

c. Click your Apple ID

From there you will be redirected to a new page.

d. Click Manage your Apple ID

e. Click Password and Security

Apple will now ask security questions you had back when you created your iCloud account (as the maiden name of your mother). Once connected, you can enter your phone number for verification in two stages. Apple will send a code to your phone, so you can put it online. You will also receive a special code called a security key that you should print out and keep in a safe place. So if you do not have your phone in hand, you can enter your code.

Whenever you want to connect to iCloud, Apple will send you a text message. That way, a hacker must know both your username and have your phone available to access your photos.
