iPhone 6 Plus: Great iPhone, large data usage
With a display diagonal of 5.5 inches, the iPhone is 6 Plus particularly well suited for mobile data usage. How well? On the iPhone 6 Plus, the used data volume compared to little brother is twice as high.

The owners of the iPhone 6 Plus apparently love surfing the web and streaming videos. A report from Citrix (PDF, via Apple World Today) contains many interesting details about the mobile companion and their users.
A data point in the report is the data-consumption of the different iPhone generations. Compared to the iPhone 6 iPhone users generate 6 plus twice as much data usage. Compared to the iPhone 3GS, it is ten times as much. This shows that the users of the large iPhones rather use their smartphone as a tablet or on the road, away from Wi-Fi connections, increased use of mobile data connections to their suppliers.
Furthermore, the report shows that the use of fitness apps has increased significantly in the past two years. While 39 percent in 2013, and 78 percent now.
There are also some details on the use of iPhone and Android in the corporate sector. Here, according to Citrix: iOS devices are more popular than Android (27 percent) or Windows Phone (9 percent), for corporate customers with 64 percent.
